Replace 12v battery?

    That is a deep cycle battery rated 12v 55ah. It replaced a 7-year old optima yellow top 12v 36ah which is too small for my Prius with start fob. Should have been at least 45ah. Car finally went dead with the Optima.

    Perhaps, but I went through years of strange non-repeating curious non-serious behaviors without thinking of the 12v battery being underpowered for an sks Prius.

    I recently replaced the failing a/c blower behind the glove box and that made a huge difference to the hybrid system. It had been bad for a long time and I just lived with the sound and weak air. I’m now thinking that the blower had been draining the hybrid battery more than it should have been. She shuts off at traffic lights right now amongst other things.
