I want to do the full 3 cycles, if I have time. I don't have need to be anywhere until Tuesday morning, and I put it on the charger last night around 6:30. A few weeks ago when I got the system, I charged it for 36 hrs, but didn't have time to any discharge cycles. So I've already done the initial extended charge/balancing as noted on their website, and think I'm about ready for the first discharge. It was at 241V when I checked around 7:30AM, 240V when I check at 10:00AM (watched it for 3 minutes and it did not move), it was 240V around 10:45AM, 239V around 1:00PM, then 240V when I checked around 1:40PM (again watched for 3 minutes - no change), and it remains at 240V now. Is it normal for it do drop voltage while charging? Does that drop mean that it's still balancing? I do have other questions, but perhaps that is better suited for a different thread.

EDIT: Just for fun, I left the windows down for ventilation without knowing we were going to get a large amount of rain, so I tied 2 tarps together and secured them around the side mirrors and through the door handles, then connected a 3rd to cover the hatch (I have a barrier in place to keep it from shutting completely). Of course, my neighbors have no idea why I'm doing this and I've explained it to none of them. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Will do. If I am able, I'll take photos and see about putting together a 'how to' with pics. I took a lot of photos when I tore apart the dash looking for that short, but I don't think I took enough for a comprehensive tutorial. But I can tell you not to pay any mind to the repair manual in that area, you do NOT need to remove the steering column. Heck, I don't think it was necessary to remove as much of the dash that I did. I hope there's not a next time, but if there is, I'll find out then.

Voltage fluctuations of 1-2 volts are normal;).

Don’t forget there are 168 individual cells, so a little fluctuation is expected :).

Good luck and keep us posted (y).

The list price on this thing is $318.07, and folks are throwing $30 down and gambling with their air bag?
