i have 2013 prius c, the 12v battery replace last month and the hybrid battery was replace 2016, my car milage now is only 59k, last august 22 2019 my car was accidentaly hit by the fj cruiser in left fender while its parked infront of my house, the fallowing day i used the car and it seems fine, and i drive it during rainy day to m6 work place, at the 3rd day the check hybrid system apear in the dash board i was petrified because i think the hybrid battery failed then i reset it, im gonna remove the white cable in the fusebox and reconnect it, then came to normal after two days it cameback again the check hybrid system warning, there was a video in youtube says that need to disconnect to orange plug in hybrid battery so i fallow and i disconnect also the white cable then back to normal again, after 3 weeks i drive in rainy day yesterday for 25 mile and suddenly the check hybrid system apear again, i was getting annoying to the insurrance of the car who hit my car they said it takes 15 to 30 days to approve the qoutation that i submit from toyota and also i include the diagnostic of the hybrid system, i believe that the warning came from the damage the fj cruiser that hit my car, i scared that if might the hybrid battery need to change the dealer dont cover the warranty because it was already replace last 2016 but the milage of my car on that time is only 26k now its only 59k and 6 years left already i dont know if the toyota dealer cover it, some of their staft says the warranty is already gone because it replace already, but in the manual is the warranty of the hybrid battery is 100k miles 96months or 8 years

The warranty of the original battery was 8 years/100k.

Replacement parts don’t get the same warranty. That is unfortunate but typical.

    Keep chasing the insurance company.

    welcome!

left front or rear fender? maybe something damaged in that area, unlikely the battery.

hopefully, your dealer has a good diagnostic crew

they won't warranty it unless you get the appropriate troublecode
