The gold hue is from the westward sun. It does look particularly sweet.

As a wise person once said:

Your car is your canvas, is an art, mod it however you desire.
answer to no one. dont let others tell u want to do and what not.

an artist doesnt need to explain his art.

I purchased this used car in Montana and it's had a lot of abuse, but still runs well (160k miles). The rear bumper cover had been scraped on the passenger side (paint repair not done yet) and I got tired of reaching down and pulling it back in place every time I drove somewhere. I purchased a new style cover support for the passenger side and replaced it Sunday and after a trip to Spokane and back it's holding perfectly. I did have to add a small thin washer over the rear clip to make it seat in the bumper cover. I also cleaned out about 10 lbs worth of dried caked dirt out of the lower area. I'll try to paint/repair the gash in the cover this winter some time while I drive my Saab 9-7x in the snow.

New pair of eyes for the Sloth. From the OEM headlights to G's headlights. Harness, bulbs, and ballasts were included by the previous owner so installation was a direct PNP. No modifications needed. Thanks Hybrid Pit for the quick install. And a photoshoot was a must with the new look. New headlights with no pictures of headlights turn on. I’ve seen posts of new wheels installed but with only straight on headshots, this post is right up there with it.

Today, since the 2012 has 160K or so miles on it, I decided to clean the cooling fan for the traction battery. I used CRC electronics cleaner (safe for plastic) and some wipes and compressed air to clean the fan & housing..I sprayed what surfaces I could reach with Turtle Wax ICE hybrid wax so, hopefully the air will move with less restriction. I didn't take pictures because there are several videos out there show how it's done.

I've seen the G's headlights on other people's cars, but I reaaaaally like how it looks on yours. That touch of black in the housing pulls together the entire look from the silver/black colors on the rest of the car.

Reminds me that I've been meaning to blackout my headlight housing for like 3 years now and I still haven't done it

Swapped out the front stabilizer end links. What a difference! She feels renewed.

    Aftermarket. (y)(y)(y)

The oems were almost double in price. Moog makes some pretty sweet end links and are reputable. The moogs also come with greaseable socket.

I'll weigh the aluminum link tomorrow at work. If I had to guess, I would put it lighter, but not by much; perhaps a lb.
