Toyota doesn't do that service... They'd prefer you buy a new pack, which costs $1650 just for the part.

this is by rjparker(sorry rjparker, unfair use and what not, don't you know) of a 2012 prius wagon; but you will get the idea:

    battery2.jpg

Red is the HV battery(traction battery) [which you can not trickle charge from under the hood], white is 12. Volt battery(auxiliary battery) which you can charge from under the hood.

sounds like your traction battery has lost it's ~traction~; which is very bad for you.

may have to go to dealer $$ [if they know how / want to charge it for you $$, or get the charger that places ads on here $$. your car is now a door nail.

you have to unbend that nail and get it out of the door $$$:(

    edit:
see post above "don't do that service"

    Sweet. here we go again....

So you have techstream? Did you mention that earlier? Have you used it at all during your "troubleshooting"?
Hook it up and do a health check. Document all the codes (or take a picture/screen capture) and anything that has a snowflake icon next to it, click on the icon to get freeze frame data. Document that also and post the photos here. It is easy to get live data from the HV battery. post that info also.

#1....why do you think it needs modules replaced? All you've probably done is drain it from trying to start the car.
#2....what do you think is going to happen if you're able to get it charged, install it in the car and try to start it again?
#3....have you done anything else to determine why the engine is not starting?
#4....if not, what are your plans for when you're back at post #1 again?

UPDATE: I purchased a grid charger, my HV was at 199v right underneath threshold. I am now able to start the car and drive it. I still have a code and light for the same codes as listed. I have already changed the camshaft position sensor and am not sure what I need to do next. All fuses and relays check out as well

I would try and find a copy of the factory manual, or take a 2 day subscription at Technical Information System (TIS) and read up on P0340

It mentions the trouble areas associate with that code, of which you have touched on 3, the other two might be worth looking at.

    P0340 TROUBLE AREAS:
    • Open or short in camshaft position sensor circuit
    • Camshaft position sensor
    • Camshaft timing pulley
    • Timing chain has jumped a tooth
    • ECM
    Hope that is helpful.
