HID bulb replacement

I ended up taking the bumper part way off like I did before. I was going to try the silicone spray, but was concerned that the overspray might make the housing slippery and it's hard enough to grip as it is. It took me about 10 minutes of putting torque on the "jar lid", but it finally got to the unlocked position. One new observation, after getting it to the "unlock" position, it didn't want to come apart easily. I tried wiggling it some, but it just needed to be turned a little further past the "unlocked" mark and it came right off. The rest of it was straight forward and I had no trouble getting the bulb in or the wire retainer back in place. It definitely helps having the housing out of the car with the bulb end pointed up. Not sure if it's of any interest, but I did take some pictures this time. They might help people to visualize what is going on when they replace the bulb leaving the housing in place.
