HV Battery fault

    I am new to the hybrid world I inherited a 2006 prius with 253987 kilometers on it

    The dash was also lighting up like a christmas tree

    I scanned it and got the POA080 error

    I've stripped out the battery and went across the packs with a mulitmeter

    I'm getting the following values

    1 8.21
    2 8.23
    3 8.22
    4 8.24
    5 8.24
    6 8.23
    7 8.24
    8 8.23
    9 8.23
    10 8.22
    11 6.98
    12 8.22
    13 8.23
    14 8.22
    15 8.23
    16 8.23
    17 8.25
    18 8.24
    19 8.25
    20 8.22
    21 8.23
    22 8.22
    23 8.25
    24 8.25
    25 8.24
    26 8.24
    27 8.26
    28 8.20

    Would I be correct to assume pack 11 needs to be replaced ?

    I can pick up a second hand one relatively cheap in ireland

    looks like it, but a load test might show others as well.

    you can buy a tool from hybrid automotive, or if you want to delve into the pack, there are threads here detailing how to rebuild a battery properly, and using a light bulb to load test, and hobby charger to recharge.
