With the limited information provided you can't tell what the deal was. Some people include trade-ins etc.

    MSRP
    + Destination
    + Options
    - Dealer discount
    + Tax/title/fees
    - Toyota factory discount

Go see Dianne Whittmier. She used to be at Carson Toyota but moved to a new dealership in SoCal. Maybe someone can chime in where she is now.

Purchased for $27,800 (plus fees and taxes)

This was $1400 below listed price (which already included a $1500 Toyota rebate)

If you do see Dianne, let her know you heard about her from Priuschat. She gives a little extra discount.

How’d you end up with your price on your 2020? I don’t see anything close to that on their website. I am trying to move up to a 2020 and looking to get the best deal.

HI All - wanted to thank you all for the pricing posts - I was able to get a great deal on a 2020 Prime Limited (Silver) - at Koons Easton Toyota in MD on 9/28- so good I flew from Houston to Baltimore to drive it back last weekend and love it. See Chris Willis at Koons Easton - I believe he has helped others on the forum. I looked everywhere for a 2020 at a big discount and this was the best I could get. The only add was the all weather mats - which was on the Toyota Window sticker:

    Totals

    30,959 Price (included $1500 rebate)
    300 Dealer fee
33,615 out the door (Tx tax 6.25%)

Hope this helps - great forum! If you go with Chris - Let him know Ted Lakoski sent ya! He was great - super small dealership.

I emailed a James Wood Jr. at Heritage and he quoted me $27,734 for a 2020 XLE. Not impressed, he did ask what it would take to earn my business so I may email back with Ruby Red's price.

Dave Swain at Prime Route 2 (Boston) quoted me the following on 2020s:

The Sticker price on Stock TL23691 Prius Prime LE is $ 28,789.00
The Prime Toyota Price is $ 24,531.00 including the cash rebate.

The Sticker price on Stock TL23470 Prius Prime XLE is $ 30,768.00
The Prime Toyota Price is $ 26,450.00 including the cash rebate.

    jmarkd,
This is a very good price for LE and XLE. I got the same price in Oregon(though I am WA state) for the LE model when the toyota rebate was 2000$. Also the XLE price is really good as most dealers sell that trim level faster and hence they tend to not give good discount in that trim level. I didnt want the big screen hence I settled with the LE.

26,450 is what I'm trying to get in SoCal. So far everyone is giving me around $27,734 as well. Im not in a rush so hopefully I can get it down there in a week or three.

They probably have an additional dealer incentive in the DC area that the California dealers don't have. You will get the $1500 California tax credit he/she didn't get; so, at the end you will be paying the same price in California even with the higher out-the-door price.

If you're willing to go to hayward I know they can go that low.

I'd recommend some variant of James Bragg's "Fighting Chance", basically a reverse auction, conducted near the end of the month or year. Dealers can have mfg incentives at those periods that motivate them to sell it for less, because they make it up in incentives. We did a couple of rounds, asking for best OTD price, making clear that we were ready to buy.

Thanks for the info! May I ask how you got from BWI to Easton? Did you just take lyft or uber or something? I looked at that dealership due to other PriusChat recommendations, but it is a quite a ways from the airport with no public transportation options.....
