One photo seems to be a mirror image of the other, so one or the other probably got reversed while a digital image.

Looked to be the wrong pan, fixed now.

All things considered, $291 for oil pan replacement and oil and filter change, is not bad.

Thanks for that @Mendel Leisk ! Not knowing, I thought the drain was supposed to be facing full front (in the photos), didn't realize it goes off to the left side like that. Now even more, I think it needs to be changed.

Just scrolled up, so price is decent. Think I'll go ahead. Appt isn't till Friday, still plenty of time for me to change my mind, hahaa. Don't think I will though, not now I've seen how it 'should' look.

Late to the party. And, realize I am old school, but I have seen MUCH worse than this damage that made no difference at all over periods of years and years (not on a Prius, of course).

Which leads me to say, "ain't broke, don't fix."

Of course, I feel a little more solid in my opinion with Mr. Wong on the same side of the issue.

But, again, seriously, that is NO BIG DEAL.

And, of course, it is not my car....

There are lots of things that would ease my mind, Bisco. But doing most of them are illegal in the 50 states!:LOL: Well, O.K. some of them....

Got this done today; new oil pan, gasket, drain plug, of course oil change, and an oil filter. Finished job came in below estimate (was291) total was $265.72. Yes, I feel relieved. When I was 30 years old, I wouldn't bother with stuff like this, just wait till disaster, call AAA and deal with it all then. Now I am over 60, 2 total knee replacements, 1 total hip replacement, and I just don't like having something like this hanging over me. Thank you for all your insight, ideas, I do appreciate all the comments.
