I have been very puzzled why it takes so long for the GPS to receive traffic information. It usually takes a good 10 min before traffic information starts to show up on the map and navigation would tell me "stop and go traffic" while I am already sitting in it.
My wife's Infiniti has traffic info displayed the moment map is loaded, and all route calculations have traffic delays factored already.
Does anyone else have this issue?

Make sure you have the data source set to HD Radio and Entune(?).
I typically see traffic info in under a minute after starting up the car.

My experience with the traffic info?
Car: in 3 miles, stop and go traffic

Sorry, but I doubt anyone's definition of "stop and go traffic" includes 5 am on a sunday, 1 car every 10 miles.
If nothing else it kept me occupied thinking up somewhat witty retorts every time it warned me. Made the time fly by )
