Feel free to bask in how glorious your car looks in comparison. Even Azteks suddenly look less awful.

Good bumpers. Headlights look like they might be easy and cheap to replace. Excellent all 'round visibility.

    I could give up style.

I don’t want to give up good HVAC though… 6 people and all that glass? doesn’t look like there’s room for much of an air con...

... if you even have to replace them, which might take quite a prang, seeing where they're located.

I wondering about those side view "mirrors", googled, they're maybe some sort of scanner?

I imagine they are the lidar gadgets. Same item appears on the roof, and higher on the visible rear corner.

^ You managed to look at it long enough to spot those things?

An autonomous van that seats 6 (4 brave passengers in the back not included)... ...I like the retro look tho.

Beauty in the eye of the beholder situation.

For me, its impressive how the gen4 Prius/Prius Prime looks ugly as sin, but still manages to be the best car I've ever owned.

Ah yes, we have those at the local mall where my wife and I plug in the P.Prime, take a walk. We occasionally even buy stuff! :)

One time one of the drivers asked me about how “real” (PH)EVs. He seemed pretty amazed when I told him that, on gas, the Prius Prime gets 55ish MPG!

  17. The other day I realized that the ugliest thing that I see after I wash my car, is what happens after I park it under a tree and come back 3 hours later...

I guess the birds really dig the blue

As the saying goes in Maine, "This is why we can't have nice things" - then again no one forced me to park under a tree...

We'd just had one most of one side our 2010 painted, and were going out to a movie. I was pleasantly surprised to find an untaken and free parking spot near the theatre. Came back after, no birds, but a tree right there had been dripping sap all evening.

    Been there, done that.

I will avoid tree-shaded parking spots for this very reason. Going through the sap-covered car cleaning experience once was more than enough for me.

I spent about 6 delightful hours cleaning up; after some trial-and-error found a kerosene-damped cloth with a dab of car polish quite effective. One drip at a time...
