2014 Prius c, 125k. Hybrid battery is at 68%. Here's a long story short. I left the key on on my car and it killed the 12 volt battery. I recharged the battery however I left the seat panels off. I went to my girlfriend's house today with my dog in the back seat and he still had his leash connected and somehow he managed to get it hooked on the hybrid battery release (red connector on the hybrid battery behind the passenger seat and under the rear seat)and somehow unhooked it. That threw a couple code and I was able to re-secure it with no issues. I cleared the code. On my way home I got another code DTC u0140, loss of communication with the body control module. I need help determining what's causing this. I read somewhere else that it could be an HEV fuse? If so where is it?

I am currently getting a high voltage error on the HUD. It will not let me put my car in drive I do have to disconnect the high voltage battery every single time to get it to drive now.

Motor Data Hybrid Paid App and a ODB BT dongle. When I start the car I do not get a ready indicator. When I put the car into gear I get a high voltage error " check hybrid system". from what I read this error is commonly from one of the following.
    12v aux battery
HV battery pack ( HV battery fuse, two 12v relay) I found it could be fuse 33. I do not know where it's located though.
    HV battery inverter/converter
To clear the code I use my phone app then have to shut the car off disconnect the hybrid battery reconnect it and start the car. Then it drives fine. If I put it in park I will get the same u0140 code.

The switch is installed properly or you would get DTC P0A0D the DTC that started this mess. The switch has a "sensor" and if it's not in correctly it will not let the car run. Oblivious from the post description this is a Body control module circuit issue there are two fuses that work with the BCM a 7.5 amp fuse and a 20 amp fuse I will look for both in the am. And try to look for the BCM location. I, at one time rebuilt Prius battery packs, tested and replaced modules for extra money don't assume I'm a novice at this, the C if different from what I am familiar with though.
