    Hi guys,

I recently purchased my 2004 prius (10/5/2019) with 145,000miles on it. i did not check the power windows from the seller when i inspected the car. when i got home, among other problems the car had (red triangle of death came on after 20 miles!) the power windows dont work on the front right passenger and both rear passenger. heres what i have investigated so far.

    1. i have checked the power window locks from the driver side, on or off, pressed or depressed, the three passenger windows dont work.

    2. it does not work on the door panels themselves, or on the driver side master controls. all other controls except passenger windows, on the driver side window works.

    3. i have checked the fuse, located under the driver side panel. took the dashboard out and the 30amp fuse does not look shorted.

any other suggestions? did i miss anything? oh and i cant adjust the clock settings and vanity lights dont work as well. i am not sure if its connected?

on a side note, its sad that people dont disclose all information when you buy a car. the seller deliberately disconnected the batteries before i test drove it to erase all codes. i came home with a broke wallet and a broken down prius. all help is needed. thank you everyone for your help.

    congrats and welcome!

sounds like you have a project on your hands.

start by learning about and purchasing tech stream on amazon. this toyota diagnostic software, coupled with the online service manual will aid you greatly.

chasing electrical gremlins can be difficult. start with the master switches in the drivers door handle, and work your way out from there.

    all the best!(y)

Could it be the isolation switch for the windows on the drivers side door rest has failed?
