Mrs Bear and I had the pleasure of hearing Susan Hockfield, president emerita of M.I.T., speak at a luncheon hosted by M.I.T. last week.

Following the event, we were pleased to see that our "magnetic grey" 2017 Prime was part of a convoy of three Primes (the others being "hypersonic red" and a "blue magnetism") neatly in a row, one after the other exiting the parking lot.

Given that the event was attended mostly by M.I.T. people -- and that M.I.T. is one of the preeminent schools of science and engineering in America -- I take this as evidence that those who are serious about excellent technology find the Prius Prime to be particularly attractive.

(The above is for illustrative purposes only; the Primes didn't really have M.I.T. painted on their sides.)

If they were red, green and blue that'd be the three primary colours. In the additive process. I know: geeky.
