Any good guides on replacing the water pump?

    Took my car to the mechanics today to see if it had a head gasket issue or the water pump was going bad. Thankfully it’s the water pump. Wondering if there’s any good guides for replacing it yourself or should I bite the bullet and have a shop replace it for 600? From the research I’ve done it seems easy just five bolts. Hardest part seems to be getting a socket and ratchet to the bolts. However if I can I would like to see a detail guide to see if I’m missing anything.

    What problem brought you to mechanic?

    Head gasket failures and symptoms shouldn't be similar to water pump failures. Did it overheat?

    We have 100x more complaints of head gasket issues than water pump issues
