I was just wondering if anyone’s done this and if anyone has any input if it’s OK and if it’s safe if the airbags will still work

i'm sure there are a lot of safety requirements there. do the connectors have the push clip on the side?

Yes I tried putting a tiny flat head in the slot also but it’s not budging perhaps I’m being way too careful

I tried that and it worked this final yellow one is not budging at all though and there seems to be two small tiny pink tabs protruding out I hope the airbag doesn’t fly open if I take the tabs out?

Always disconnect 12v battery when dealing with airbag related connections.

And for the yellow connector, likely you have to pull the white tab out a bit, then squeeze.

Glad someone has done this and is sharing the info. That's the first picture I've seen with a removed passenger seat on a Prime.

Could build a nice sleeping platform in that space. This guy did this with his Mk2 -

Just curious - are there any new warning lights lit up or beeping sounds going on when you drive with the passenger seat removed?

Also, have you put the seat back in again, and if so, is any "recalibration" needed? Some previous discussions around this subject have alluded to this.

    Thank you!

Did you ever find out if the airbags still work with the one seat out? Also what year is your prius?
