The 10% that’s not acetone is keeping your fingers intact.

I've got a can of straight acetone, was using it to take off wheel weight adhesive, found it was starting to burn. This was after it'd melted off the finger tips of my gloves.

Funny thing, there's a plastic "safety" cap, over top of the regular metal cap. My 2 cents: that thing makes it virtually impossible to open, and much more likely to spill in the process. I spent about 10 minutes ripping it off.

Well happy to report all issues fixed and car has been in service for a few days. Everyday mpg has gone up. I'm sure it's due to rings breaking into the cylinders.

PreRebuild I was getting 42.9mpg at 70mph. Today I got 48.6 on same road at same speeds. Nice

YIPEE KIYAY! I am very happy for you! I'm sure it's nice and smooth too.
I'm sure it was worth all the work, time, and effort.

I hope so I need to drive it for 2 to 3 or maybe 4 more years. To make it all worth it. I use it for Uber.

That's good to know. I would think you'd know by now if there was a problem.
    Has the fuel mileage improved?

50 was what CONS said. Actual is 44.6 when con says 49.8

I'm pretty sure the computer knows the actual mpg, or very close, and that Toyota management just demanded a little "tweak", before it's shown in the dash.

I have been wondering about accuracy. The milage vers cons never seemed correct. But never did manual calculation like I did today.

That being said it would seem to me pre rebuild I was empty at around 370ish miles now empty at 447 miles. So good measurable difference.

The variation is at least reliable: you can look at what's displayed, factor in the fudge, and be pretty close.

What it displays is NOT what reality is. It give you an estimate. Mine has only been within a 1mpg once.
And I think it was only because I had only driven about 100 miles and wanted a full tank before driving all day.

It's usually about 3.5 miles off, on average.
