Who said Prius looks awful?

How much are they per tire? What is the mileage rating?

I think I'll leave that one. This thread was just a victim of "topic drift" - that's all. It is a common occurrence here.

I've ignored this thread since day one of it's posting.
But just for kicks I'll belatedly throw my 2 cents in.

I think the Prius in the OP's original post looks great. I like the white and blood red maroon color combination. I like the wheels.
IMO....it's a good looking Prius. BUT...HOWEVER...

I'm an old guy now, I guess.
I just don't and never have connected with the whole "lowering" of a vehicles suspension. It's just probably the way I was raised and how vehicles were for most of my life, but when I see wheels with that stance, and the vehicle lowered to that level?
My mind registers it as something is HORRIBLY wrong with that vehicles suspension. It looks like an accident to me. My gut feeling is call your insurance company and get it to a body shop something is wrong.

Not to mention that I have a hard time embracing any idea that a stance that low to the ground is anything but a net negative as far as actual usage of the vehicle in the real world.

I had/have un-adjusted regular factory suspension on both my departed Prius and current Honda Fit, and I still have to take driveway inclines and speed bumps very slowly or I will hear a scraping sound.
You could bottom out that Prius if you drove over a penny.

So yes, I think it's a good looking Prius. BUT...it's a product of younger taste than mine, from a suspension standpoint.
