I’m having a issue with my car gen 3 1.8 petrol
I’m experiencing a misfire on no 2 cylinder under load,
No DTC, but I can see on diagnostic it’s misfiring only on that cylinder, went tru all the checks, everything checked out good, the only way I can get rid of the misfire is to disconnect egr valve or blank it, car drives perfect then but I’m stuck with the insufficient egr flow DTC,
I swapped the egr off another car just to be sure it wasn’t that, but still same issue,
Anyone ever had this issue before? Can’t see how the manifold wod cause this issue.
    Thanks

lots of people. gen 3 is known for it. if you've swapped plugs and coils, and cleaned the complete egr circuit, you might have a bad head gasket

Get a compression test on #2 before throwing parts at it. The result will tell you what to do next.

And/or leak-down test. Per @bisco, misfire on cylinder one or two is very common, and usually head gasket failing.

    How many miles?

Ever cleaned the Exhaust Gas Recirculation system, and intake manifold (essentially part of the EGR)?
