I had a 2005 Prius (which will now become my son's) and yesterday purchased a 2010 Prius with 59k miles on it. I have to say it feels much more solid to drive than my beloved 2005. I'm so happy my Prius is staying in the family! I'm having fun figuring out all the upgrades this 2010 Prius has compared to my 2005. They are such great cars!

At the dealership yesterday, as they were proposing the extended warranties to me, I cut her off saying I wasn't interested. She asked, "May I ask why you aren't interested in hearing about the extended warranty options?" I replied, "Because these cars are so darn reliable!" May my 2010 Prius be as reliable and fun to drive as my 2005 has been!

Congrats, I’m hoping mine will be as reliable as others in this same generation, the only thing I’m really worried about is the battery but Toyota can’t do much about that.

Is it just me or has anyone else not seen many of the current generations? I rarely see a 4th gen but plenty of 3rd.

I definitely think the 3rd gen was their most popular prius.

Around here, I see a lot of Gen4, but a a darn lot of Gen3, still quite a few Gen2
Many a time I see 2 to 3 Prius in a row of traffic. almost strange at times lol.

Yeah that "may I ask..." is standard script from those jokers you used to get (back in the land line days) phoning you up and trying to sell you whatever.
