Good news, Toyota is making 4-way adjustable front seats standard on the 07 Prius.
see www.Toyota.com for a look at the new Touring model :)

Prius has always had 4-way seats (slide seat forward/back and tilt seat back forward/back); up/down is still missing.

Sorry everybody, I checked the 05 Prius catalog and they do list the front seats as "4-way". Hows that for truth in advertising? :(

Well... I design and build flashlights, and common in the industry is a "three-way switch." Ready to count the ways with me?

    1. on
    2. off
    3. momentary

    Yes, this stuff is rampant.

A momentary seat adjustment would provide an interesting driving experience. We had a Cessna 172 at my flight school that had a "momentary" seat. The chief flight instructor was working with a student. On takeoff acceleration, his seat promptly rocketed to the back of the airplane; fortunately, his student was quick enough to take the controls, now out of reach. Unfortunately, the Prius has only one set of controls, but fortunately, no momentary seats........

Maybe Toyota is waiting with the Prius to release quantum seats, where you can be sitting in two places at once.

Thanks. My local pals and I are all coming together in true club from. We're about to make Tee shirts. There's talk of a possible Prius Christmas party or even a caravan out to meet the NJ Prius gathering :)
