So I have a 2017 Prius Prime. About 35k miles on it so far. I got it about a month ago and I have some outstanding questions about some features of it:

Everytime I brake from above 20 mph, I hear a "clicking" sound that is progressive up until the point that I stop. Is that normal?

When my EV power runs out, my battery or engine starts roaring and I feel the brake vibrating. I suspect that this may be the battery charging but wanted to ask if this is normal? This morning this went on for like 5 minutes before it finally stopped and everything was quiet again.

    Thanks!

    congrats and welcome!
sounds described in writing are hard to analyze. try searching here for the clicking, i feel like i've read that before, bad shafts or something.
i would try test driving one for a benchmark. a 17 with 35k shouldn't be much different.

It's still under warranty, correct? Take it to the dealer and please let us know what happens....
