Hey everybody, I have a 2010 Prius with 96,000 miles. My symptoms are mushy brakes as well as the brakes do not charge the battery. I recently got techstream so I was able to pull the codes. This is what came up.

so the DTC code C0210 points to the right rear speed sensor. I have replaced the whole hub assembly, speed sensor included, and the code hasn't changed. I did another health check on techstream and this is what came up after replacing hub assembly.

I'm just completely lost on where to go now. I'd appreciate any suggestions.

Sounds like air in the brake line

Exact same issue. Took it to a Toyota dealer and they said the Reservoir Assembly (part #47220-47080) needed to be replaced.

Highly unlikely to be the same issue (exact, or even approximate). I see that you've even posted this on another thread where the issue was different from this one, and said it was the exact same issue there too. What gives?

There are a lot of reasons for brake warnings to come on. As for how often they mean the reservoir needs replacing, well, this is the first case I've seen.

Check with the dealer - there's a warranty extension to 10 years or 150k miles on certain braking system / ABS failures. I got a notice about this in the mail for my Gen III. There's a website where you can enter your VIN to see what's covered.

Hi there, I have had the same code for a couple of months.
Prius 2011, 150,000 miles, C0210, The ABS, Slip and both brake warning lights are on.
The regenerative brake is not functioning.

A mechanic found out that the electricity is not coming from the wire inside of the body that is connected with the ABS wire harness.
So the problem should be inside of the body, wires or ECU.

    Any suggestions are appreciated.
    Thank you in advance.
