I was building a small shed at my place...hmm, somehow, the building permit (?),

Anyway, shed was supposed to be finished last August, but I retired at the end of June, and just have not had any time:whistle: And, since I could not find my "permit," I did not want to mess with running electric to it.

Finishing touches done this morning. :D

Basically a shed to keep wife's garden shears, a few tools, etc. Not much.

Some 98 percent of the time, no light is not an issue, but there are times I could use some light in the thing. Has anyone tried any of those wireless light switches that run off a couple of AA or AAA and throw out a few hundred lumens.

    Something like this...
200 Lumen LED Super Bright Flip Light

All I really need is enough light to find a tool or something, not to perform surgery. Considering the price, I would not object to installing two or three of them if they really work well enough. There is a loft in the shed above the potting bench, so I could actually attach one to the bottom of the loft to shine on the bench.

I have used that exact flip light to "upgrade" a closet into a voice-over booth. We used 2 units. Talent was able to read the script.

At home I put in a solar-charged motion activated lamp on the back corner of the house where I operate the generator during power blackouts. It's much, much brighter than the flip panels and seems to charge itself just fine, no maintenance needed.

I got a LED lamp that looks like a light bulb for a closet; 4 pack was around $12 from Amazon. It has a loop, and hangs from a nail. Replaced a Sylvania dot like use double sided tape refused to stick to the old paint there. Not super bright, but you just take it off the nail or hook if you need too.

I have seen some solar powered light fixtures that can have the solar panel mounted remotely from the light for a better charging position.
