Spark Plug Gap... let's think about this.

    Mine didn't look bad at 110,000. But in any case, 100,000 miles is a lot of miles for any plug.

    Newer cars have higher ignition voltage set on different timing using different kind of plug like the iridium for longer life. not like the older cars with plugs they don't last. I tried using the early accel (the one that's made in USA with a higher voltage 1980's) on a tricked out 18rg motor with a higher compression. it was running better but I notice I was wearing out the tip of the plug faster than the usual. with all the different plugs and changes, I ended up using a 3 caret platinum setting the gap from 32 to 42.
    This is a pulled out stock Prius plugs with 120k miles.
