How do you refill the transaxle fluid?

I'm going to replace my transaxle fluid using ATF WS at a DIY garage which rents out lifts. How do you refill the fluid back in there? I've seen videos where they snake a tube from the top down in front of the radiator and use a funnel, but that makes it difficult to see when it's full. Is there a tool I can use to fill it when the car is on a lift, so I can keep an eye on the overfill?

    Thanks for your advice.

Is there a Harbor Freight close to you?

Oh yes, I've seen those a hundred times and didn't think of it. Thanks!

I've replaced the fluid three times, iirc. Never used a pump. Never had a mess. The hose will never make it if you try to run it in front of the radiator. It needs to be behind the engine. You already know how much it takes to fill it, so after putting in about 3-1/2 quarts, you just put it in about a quarter cup at a time. lean over and look for overflow. Much easier, imho, than stroking almost 4 quarts in there laying on my back hoping it doesn't squirt back at me. Faster and easier than pumping.

Don't forget in this case, there is a lift;).

No laying on ones back involved:).

I've used the harbor freight pump a dozen times and pumped from above. Similar to the funnel in terms of steps and filling precautions, but a lot faster(y).

Ah! I forgot about the lift. That makes a BIG difference. Thanks.
