Looking to buy a Prius Prime , however like someone posted- none in the state of Florida that I can find.

How are you guys ordering your Prime? Do you just go a local dealer and say you want the Prime? Does this negate any chance for a decent deal? I have 2 dealers near me. One offers lifetime Warranty if you buy from them. The other one is a bit newer and offer a gym while you wait lol. Other than that they both offer small perks if you buy from them.

Any tips suggestions appreciated. Looking to buy in a few months, no rush. Honestly still unsure if I should go for the Prime or regular Prius. Keep going back and forth.

Lol, a Toyota Stealership offering a lifetime warranty... What could go wrong?

But seriously, first step is to figure out state registration laws for out of state vehicles. Second step is to not throw 30% of the value of the car away overnight and buy a barely used 2018 or 2019 from a private seller.

Also a moderator on here @Tideland Prius is probably the person you want to private message if you're committed to a 2020.

If I stick to the prime, I would have to get the 2020 because I need the 5th seat. sigh...

    welcome!
go to both dealers, tell them what you want, and negotiate the best deal you can.

if you want better, buy in the northeast like most folks do, and drive it home, or have it delivered.

The Prime 2020 would also have the 4500 federal tax incentive. :)

NY region has $3000 - TMS Customer Cash. Exp. 02/03/2020 which is one reason I just bought mine in December.

I looked for 2 minutes and saw 2 new Primes in FL (Lake Park and Stewart)

There's NO REASON to feel that you have to buy one in your home town, and yes....I would go with a Prime over the wireless Prius in a heartbeat.

With the federal tax kickback the price should be about the same, and the resale value simply HAS to be higher.

The Prime would probably save you money even if you never plug it in.

    Good Luck!
