05 with up until today, fully functioning SKS system. Keyless entry for driver, passenger, starter, and hatch locks 100% functional.
Today, driver door only stopped working keylessly. Passenger, hatch doors, starter still operational keylessly.
Both fobs, same result. Red SKS symbol detecting key as I approach vehicle.
Bad sensor in the driver side door?

That makes sense. The driver side actuator has certainly opened, shut that circuit 10x the passenger door and hatch. Is that a normal 10mm socket only, Prius fix I wonder?

How does the drivers door work now? If it only unlocks from the inside or with mechanical key then it's the drivers door lock actuator or wiring (most likely problem spot is the door flex) also maybe (but very unlikely) a bad control unit.

If the drivers door still unlocks with the key button it's a totally different problem.

Driver's door works normally: keyless and or mechanical but the SKS feature whereby the door senses a key nearby and opens when you access the door handle, that feature isn't working on the driver's side. It is however fully functional on the passengers side. As you approach the vehicle with key, the red key indicator light turns on.
Feels like the receiving sensor in that driver door gave up the ghost.
