LED trunk upgrade

    I decided to upgrade light in the trunk of my Prius Prime. The oleum was not cutting it. Here is a few pictures of my father and I installing the LEDs

    Very nice mod. How did you attach the left side new LED? Did you have to cut the plastic?

    Both sides where spliced together at the light housing. Turning the OEM light on and off will not affect the LEDs. But shutting the trunk will turn it all off.
    We did not have to cut or drill into the plastic. You can tuck the wire behind it.
    I'll try to take a close up picture of them when I get out of work.
