I will need to replace to caliper guide pin bolts (plural) on LH side . I have a huge preference for OEM Toyota replacement parts. 47721A OEM number possible. However internet search are useless unless via dealership and only get complete caliper. I am hoping that dealers (Toyota) can either get guide pin complete or have a cross. Mr. Chapman and Patrick if you have any suggestion thanks in advance.
I pretty much go straight to parts.toyota.com lately. FRONT DISC BRAKE CALIPER & DUST COVER. 2007 Toyota Prius Hatchback HYBRID | Toyota You look at the picture, see the callout labels for the things you're looking for (47721A for the bolt, 47715A for the pin, 47775 for the boot), click the pink bits on the labels and get scrolled right down to the part numbers (90016-AA604, 47715-47010, 47775-02130, respectively). Zip zop. Are you sure you can justify the ninety-eight cents for that OEM bolt, though? Aftermarket could save you a bundle. The boots, of course, are also included in the complete rebuild rubber kit, 04478-47070 (all the rubbery bits and spring clips to rebuild two calipers, plus a packet of the proper grease).
The aftermarket kits for example ROCKAUTO / AMAZON purchased past where possible Carlson /Dorman (China) knock offs that allowed for too much gap and loose play additionally pin and bolt where not even close too OE specs which for sure was lost in translation. I may chat with local dealer as well .....Thanks again
In case I forgot the emoji, I was kidding about saving a bundle cheaping out on a ninety-eight cent bolt.
I am looking for the following OEM parts if anyone has access. Front strut (bolts/nut)14mm head that mount to knuckle.... additionally the rubber flap seal that goes on windshield cowl... thanks
