I just saw a prius prime with Uber and Lyft stickers. I thought prime didn't qualify since it can't seat 5? Anybody have any insights?

I haven't seen any Honda Insights as Uber or Lyft before.

The Prius prime ‘17 ‘18 and ‘19 do not qualify for Uber or Lyft because they only have 4 seat belts. Some said on another forum that Lyft doesn’t car as long as it has 4 doors. Don’t do it.!!! If you get stopped by a cop with 4 plus you, you’ll get a ticket. If you get into an accident, you could be sued and the rideshare insurance won’t cover you because you had more passengers than seatbelts. The 2020 Prius prime is a whole new animal. It was redesigned, the rear center console now folds up just like the Honda clarity and now legitimately seats 5 total (you plus 4). That’s they only reason why I traded my 18 for a 20, took a loss on the value of the 18 and got a new 6 year loan
