I hope they are appearance/handling mods, but if you mean engine performance mods:

The atkinson cycle engine has a compression ratio of about 8:1 and an expansion ratio of 13:1, so exhaust gases are not still expanding in the exhaust as they would be in an otto cycle engine. A loud exhaust is louder, but not more powerful.

The atkinson cycle engine holds the intake valve open during the first third of the compressions stroke, so intake air pumps back into the intake manifold. So it is never 'cold air' no matter what you do. If you make it a 'shorty' intake you can spew fuel/air mixture into the atmosphere, both polluting and altering the mixture for the engine, throwing codes. So loud intake is just loud, not more powerful.

(BTW, it panics some new owners that they can see fluid in the intake, that is from the f/a mixture pumped back out and is 'normal' for an atkinson cycle engine)

    Atkinson cycle - Wikipedia

Holding the intake valve open is going to make nitrous pretty useless and hard to tune, but both turbocharging and supercharging are 'effective' but the computers will mostly use the extra power to charge the battery, not speed you down the road. Finding space under the hood is a challenge, but the power is real. (You will not find kits, all the fabricating will be by you)

Not trying to be disapproving, just trying to save you cash on mods that won't make power, just noise.

Go to Welcome to Toyota Owners and click on "Join." Once you enter your VIN, you'll know everything about your car that Toyota knows, including any service done by a Toyota dealer. It won't tell you about accidents although, if it got body work at Toyota that would be there, I assume.

    Big +1 to @JimboPalmer's advice. (y)

so i did a carfax and went to my local toyota to get the service list. the car got an front end accident mybe thats why one of the headlight looks new and the other one is not. for the foglight i guess the owner installed himself. 1 owner and toyota service so most of the time is only oil change and tire rotation did not do any major service yet. after i drive a bit the hybrid light came on so im planning to get greenbean battery since its life time. any good stuff about this company? about to make an appointment tomororw with them to install it.

Not much, but plenty of bad experiences.

Do not install a "rebuilt" "remanufactured" or "re" anything HV battery. Only install a completely brand new battery, preferably OEM. newpriusbatteries.com does a completely new module kit for DIY install for $1600, which is a pretty good deal.

for $149 more, go with newpriusbatteries, and get brand new cells. I did, and very happy with them. Cyclindrical cells allow for better airflow, and quicker response to temperature swings. Nothing against GB, but if you are spending that much for a replacement, just get NEW.

Not bad for a used battery, which is what you bought. Of course the accuracy of those tests is not something on which I'd bet my soul, but it's probably somewhere in the ballpark. Predicted remaining life of a battery is much like predicted miles in the gas tank. It all depends on how you drive, what the traffic is like, and what the weather's doing.

I presume you're referring to the Energy Monitor screen. That screen shows the MPG as it happens. If you switch to the Consumption screen (press the Consumption button, bottom left), the one with the bar graph that shows the average consumption since it was last reset (or on a 2004-2005, since the last time the tank was refilled).

They automatically come one when you start the car, they automatically got out just after you shut off the car.*

    https://www.toyota.com/t3Portal/document/om-s/OM47613U/pdf/OM47613U.pdf

The default delay is 60 seconds but the dealer^ can change this to 30 or 90 seconds or disable the delay. I parked in a garage at night, so disabled the delay. If it was a long walk to the house you might want 90 seconds.

    * If you never open the driver's side door after you hit Power, they never turn off. That will run down the battery quickly.

^ or you if you have an OBDII programmer

    Uh, am I missing something....

The lights will automatically go on and off if you leave the lights ON. If you have them turned off, they do not go on until you turn the switch on...well...at least for the '08. The '06 is the same, isn't it?

That is how mine work too.

But Jimbo is saying there was an option for Auto headlights, which I never heard of in a Gen 2. Fairly sure it was never offered as an option in Australia/New Zealand.

If you get out of the car with headlights on and then lock the car, headlights go off. Atleast they do in my 2005.
They would come on when you re-enter and turn the car on.
It is kind of Auto headlights.
