    I bought the Carista and changed a bunch of my Prime's settings to my preferences. I changed some settings regarding how the windows can be opened and closed.

    I managed to set things so that I can roll all of the windows up and down with the mechanical key. I can also now roll down all of the windows by pressing and holding the unlock button on the electronic key/fob.

    My questions:

    1. Is there a setting that allows you to close all of the windows with the electronic key/fob (like maybe by pressing and holding the lock button)?

    2. I do see settings that are titled something like, "Close driver's window using single button press" with "YES" or "NO" for options. What does that do? Is that referring to the button inside the car in the door that you press to roll down the window? And this lets it roll down all the way with a single press?

    Thank you for any information

    no, you have to use the mechanical key to close all four of your windows, there is no option to use the FOB to close the windows just the option to open all four windows

    This setting is for the interior buttons. With a single press it raises the windows. You don't have to hold the button to raise or lower the windows. If you have children you might want that option to be off. As someone could get caught in a closing window.

    I remembered both the "key" option and the ability to use the remote to open windows when approaching the car, but I didn't make notes when I originally learned these tricks several months ago.

    So, when I tried to use the physical key yesterday, I drew a blank, so, this morning (in near freezing temps) I went out to the carport and finally had success.

    For anyone else like me who has CRS syndrome, I post the following;

    • To CLOSE all four windows, turn physical key to "lock" and hold. Windows will stop at any point when key is released.
    • To OPEN all four windows, press and hold keyfob "unlock" button. Windows will stop at any point when key is released.

    I know that one of the above requires either Carista or a dealer to set the option, but not sure which or both.

    Hope this helps others who live in the southeast.
