There’s one odd bolt in the removal of the traction battery it’s 12 mm. I’ve removed two of these(traction batteries) and never paid attention to where this one bolt belongs???????

It's called the grounding bolt. It goes in the fastener hole toward the front on driver side, fastening the battery case to the floor.

If you are in the hatch facing the front of the car, the bolt goes in the hole on the left ( driver side), towards the front of the car.

Not the end of the world if it doesn't go there. But annoys the heck out of me whenever I see it in the wrong place!

Also tips me off that someone has been messing with the HV battery.

You’ve caused me to question reality and I’ll have to put that wayward metal fastener in its proper home now.........so yes the clues have led you to someone and that is I. Lol. Thanks again!
