You don’t need a scan tool to tell you your compressor is winding it self to death because it’s trying to satisfy a cooling call but it’s low on refrigerant. The compressor is literally boiling water hot burn your fingertips.

Listen to the background noise of a compressor that’s winding its self to death. When you’re driving your car sitting inside and it’s hot outside and you keep trying to turn your air conditioning on a colder temperature to cool yourself all you’re doing is helping your compressor burn it self to death.
