So I cannot use that one. That is fine, I think I found the right one at Pep Boys that everyone is talking about. Since pasting URL's from their site seems to just take you to their main page. Here is the other information:

Bosch Premium Performance Battery Group, Size 51
    Part#: 51-440BAGM / SKU: 647478
It is $189.99 with 20% Instant off online with free installation.

I am actually not sure. I know it was replaced just before I took owner ship of the Prius. I just got the results from Toyota. The twelve volt battery is fine. It is the hybrid battery that needs replacing. YAH! :( Time to start looking at cells and figure out how and what exactly balancing the battery is.

Not if you want a reliable car. Playing "whack-a-mole" replacing bad modules with other old modules is not recommended. Since you are DIY consider @2k1Toaster kit of new cells for $1600 delivered. That basically gives you a new battery & dome old modules with life that can be sold. Link is in my signature.

Have an 07 Prius, and including the original battery, I have had four 12V batteries, all Toyota (Interstate). Not sure if things have changed over the years, but I noted on the battery I just replaced there is an 84 month (7 year) warranty on them. My brother (who had my Prius while I was overseas) never kept the receipt, and I was SOL when I went to the Stealership. So I bit the bullet, and bought a new one at about $200. Oh you better believe that I took pictures and scanned that sucker! I am getting about 3 years on average out of the OEM Toyota batteries, not good, not terrible, but what I will say is that with the battery track record that I have, I will never have to buy another battery again so long as I have that receipt.

The battery is prorated so you will wind up paying some money. It’s only 100% covered for 24 months.

3 years is pretty short for a Prius 12V. Do you listen to the radio a lot with the car off or something?

You realize you quoted a Canadian site, right? The person you replied to is in the US.
Canada has not (yet?) annexed Texas. ;)

Just picked one off the list. I think the US one is worse. My dealer said 100%, 50%, 25%. I want to say 2 years for 100%.

Just in case it hasn't already been written, the small 12 volt battery in your Prius only boots the computers in the car, and that's why cold cranking amps don't really matter. The high-voltage pack starts the motor.

I beg to differ, I think that lasting only 3 years is terrible. Maybe you should consider a battery charger and use it every two weeks or once a month to keep your battery in great shape.

Does your Prius sit for periods of time without being driven at least an hour a day?

Perhaps because a deep cycle battery is not needed for the Prius.

By the way, your Caps Lock key is stuck.

The Oem Toyota battery is not an interstate, it is a Yusa TrueStart. Of course the dealer can sell you anything they want. You might have better luck with a True Start. You might not.

It's cheaper and more reliable than any Lead Acid battery... I've had it for a few months and have had zero problems... Increased the capacity by 150percent... You really should look at that section and realize Toyota was too lazy to include these in their designs.

Increased capacity that is not needed for the Prius. The 12V battery has much less load than an average automobile. Proper venting of gases is paramount for safety and government certification though.

Maybe true, but it won't hurt any to have the extra capacity, especially if it is cheaper per Ah.
While true, it does draw current more often and having a larger capacity battery that tolerates deeper discharge can only be a plus.

    Citation please.
If you are referring to the engine starting often that uses the traction battery. Once the car is in Ready mode the battery is continuously charged by the inverter.
