2007, daughter left dome light on and I didn't drive it for about 48 hrs. Jump packs aren't working in the front, My car is in a tight garage nose in (I'm an idiot). I've accessed the battery in the trunk so a neighbor can jump me, I'm just not sure which is the positive connection point. Please help?

positive has all the serious looking stuff, negative goes to the body behind the panel

make sure you don't cross polarize the connexxions

The terminal to the left (reading from the battery), is the positive (facing the front of the car). The terminal closes to the rear end of the car is the negative.

keep in mind, if the battery is bad, it may not jump. also, after starting, ypu need a good battery each time you shut it down. so you'll need to get it charged, or replace it

I know, I think it's ok because I know the cause of the drain, and still getting a tiny bit of light in the dome light.

in your diagram, A and B are the same terminal (positive). Negative is what you written (NEG)

I'd have to do some digging but it was not replaced with the hybrid battery last year, I would guess 5 years?

Negative is hard to access, can I just use the bolt on the floor of the car that the battery is harnessed into?

no, you need to get to the negative terminal on the battery to jump start it.

Since there was confusion on where the positive and negative would be, I didn't want the OP to possibly get the connections too close together. Kept the connections well apart from each other.

If you're jumping from the front jump points, the strut tower bolt would be good for a ground.
