It's behind the right rear seat, above the wheel. The 12v is two years old.

when you get it out, take it to an auto parts store for a charge, or buy one on amazon and do it in place.

new thought, can you get a jump?

Here is a vid showing the Prius "c" battery under the rear seat.

The 2012 does NOT have jump points under the hood. ( I had a 2012 before my 2014)
You would have to jump on the battery itself. be careful

I don't know how that black piece of plastic comes off, but I'll watch the video.

I called a AAA tow tuck guy with the intention of towing it to a dealership. He wanted to see what was happening, so I started it and showed him it doesn't move when I shift into gear. So he got in, put it in reverse, didn't move. Then I think he pressed further on the brake pedal, put it back into gear, then voila it moved, LOL. Problem solved, without paying anything, it appears. He said the calipers must have stuck. I didn't drive the car for a few days after a recent full day of rain. He said that can cause them to stick. Everything is back to normal.

Thanks again for the help everyone!

It's really not bad; This video just makes it look awkward because the mechanic and the cameraman are the same person.
