With the few bob you'll earn once you publish your new diagnostic methods, and technicians across the world all say "can you believe how long we were taking off tires and measuring things with gauges? What fools we were!", you'll never need to take off your own tires again.

Well just becouse they are labeled experts doesn't mean they know everything.

Example the experts were trying to glue there break pads to caliper. When me doing transmissions had a customer we put breaks in as a courtesy job. We're squealing and we took it apart so many times and used every single method suggested and available for squealing breaks. When the last time I threw on some grease on back of pads and NOW it's recommend to grease back of pads.

Yeah, I'm partial to anti-seize on all contact areas between pads and shims and caliper/piston.

I was only on a cruise ship once and they paired me up at dinner with a Ford designer . They were saying they design there cars to be able to fix. Oh sure they do. I replied then why does it take every minute of 16 hours to replace a heater core. 8 hours to take out the dash to gain 1/2 inch clearance and 8 hours back.
Well the designer didn't know WOW really ford shop time book knew. Left had don't know what right hand is doing.

Never went back to that table. Only arguments can follow that.

I think the South Main Auto YouTube guy is partial to that stuff; you're in good company.

I had a 1984 Ford Bronco II where the heater core really was a less-than-ten-minute job. The heater case was in two halves, one each side of the firewall. Take off a little cover on the inside (just reaching under the glove box), undo the hoses in plain sight on the engine side of the firewall, give the core a little tug and there it was.

Even the evap coil was easy. That was inside the shell on the engine side. In fact with a friend's extra arms it was possible to unbolt the compressor, condenser, and evaporator, and lift the whole A/C system out still sealed. Did that while rebuilding the engine.

Don't see many designs that accessible any more.

Ok I just realized chatter happens when break turns off cruise control. Gonna do bunch of testing.

Braking out of cruise control is treated as exigent braking, bypasses regen and goes straight to supplying the full demand using the friction brakes.

So if there is anything about the friction brakes tending to chatter, braking out of cruise will showcase it.

Well i read through that PDF. Well rotors and pads are new in theory should be good.

I know o know new doesn't mean good. I know I wasn't break specialist but never got warped new rotor.
So might do new calipers and hoses. After I get a tool to do run-out test

Ok fixed well sucks when this happens. Did 2 things and didn't have time to test between the two.
I replaced all 6 break hoses.
    Then I changed tires
Unfortunately I don't know which one fixed the problem.
I was really hoping to do more testing after I did hose change. But the few times I did have high speed breaking it seemed to be there so I say tires was what was doing it.
