On the way battery was acting up and the triangle popped up.

I had a extra Hybrid Battery at home so I swapped it out.
And I had a extra Yellow top 12volt
    Ahhh the joy.
    No more codes Runs great.

Found out what was wrong with old Hybrid battery.

Nice find! Could the burnt connection cause the codes? Maybe the hybrid battery still works?!

8 of the Battery packs are showing around 6.5 average:eek:
Probably the ones with the burnt connections.:cautious: I will do a full diagnostic and see if the burnt wires match with the low voltage Packs.
The rest are showing around 7.2 average.:D
I wonder if the Computer is still good. Guess I will test that too ;)

Very nice looking! One of the very few 2004's I have seen that is NOT blue!

From working in electronics for many decades, I know that all electrical/electronic components are made with "magic smoke" inside them - that's what makes them work. And, nothing good ever happens if you let the smoke out!

I think 3rd gen's can go the the long haul, but it requires more of a "problem child" approach. Definitely not for the "I've brought the car to the dealership religiously for the required maintenance" crowd. Anyone doing that wins the booby prize, somewhere between 150K~200K.

I have never been to a dealership to buy cars or get maintenance/repairs done,
only go there for Genuine Parts that AutoZ**e can't get. (y)
