I have a 2009 Prius, My car chargers to plug in my cell phone chargers are not working anymore. Is there a way to fix the chargers and if so how? They did work for a little bit of time then they stopped since I got it from a used car dealership.
if your saying your using the cigarette lighter to charge your phone thats pretty common. I have had to replace the cigarette lighter socket twice now over the years. Really common if you actually use it to light a cigarette then they dont last long at all..
Some testing is required. Test the power socket in the car first.....and realize that it is only "hot" when the car is ON. Then test your power cord by plugging into another known good outlet in another vehicle. If it is the charger cord that is bad, throw it away and get a new one. "Fixing" is not a practical option.......unless maybe you can do it yourself.
