"Charging port is open"

    Go to start the Prime this morning, START button, and get a message something like, "Charging Port is Open."

    Huh? I look down, notice the door to the USB port is open with a cord plugged-in. "Well, that's a little compulsive-obsessive, isn't it?"

    Yes, then look around and realize: "Oh, the BIG charging port."

    And continuing on the silly posting theme, how many owners think we're being cute by calling our Primes, "Optimus Prime." Totally realizing just how old and tired that must be, even though it IS a properly nerdish reference.

    I'm sure there's already the "Prime Directive" (or "General Order 1", and the "non-interference directive") is a guiding principle of Prius ChatFleet, prohibiting its members from interfering with the internal and natural development of ICE-supplemental transportation.

    May I propose the "Praw Factor" for our Prii? (Warp <=> Praw.) Being the inverse of Warp, a measure of the relative acceleration going to zero as the MPG goes to infinity.

    "Praw Factor 3, and lay-off that accelerator, Mr. Sulu!"

    I even have the Optimus Prime sticker on the back of my car. Service guys always like to laugh at that when I bring my car in for service.
