Toyota USA recommends a "full" inspection tri-yearly or 30K miles. It's pathetically vague though, no specific mention of the caliper pin lube. But at least it's a variation from the usual "visual" inspection:

Anyway, I would say tri-yearly or 30K miles should be good for pin lube. I talked to local service manage, and that was his recommendation. I think he said something like "unless you're regularly" going skiing, then maybe bi-yearly or 20K miles". He spoke metric, but it was something like that.

OP's video is pretty good, I mean bad, erm I mean there's very obviously something going on there.

It is good enough for me to recognize the noise as very similar to what I had when I had the dry pin problem. The inner pad wears unevenly causing it to not be parallel with the rotor and pedal pressure make the uneven pad try to get parallel with the rotor and that rotates it ever so slightly in those stainless steel inserts (which should also be lubed, but are exposed to elements and dry out fast). That movement of the pad within its "nest" is what caused the creak in my case. We'll see what OP discovers.

Those stainless springy inserts are cheap to replace (around $15 or so at the dealer IIRC, set does both sides).

Toyota doesn't recommend any added lube for them; when they're new, they have a dry, teflon-like coating that doesn't attract road grime. Wears off after some years though.

They do not need to be replaced. The noise is from the inner pad wearing unevenly and trying to rotate in there under pressure to become parallel with the rotor. That creates the pad against those inserts movement that was never intended to occur.

I don't think the issue is physically with brakes themselves, as, if I am gentle and careful, the honk noises are not present, it's super present and audible when braking in spirited manner.

I found, if I push the brake pedal more aggressive and Regen mode skips, I can hear hissing, thonk noises during driving, I repeated the same while in parked mode, and out of 10 iterations, heard thonk sound for 2-3 iterations, this was with hood open and my wife doing braking iterations while parked, the noises seemed to be coming from below b/w hybrid motor and fuse boxes on driver side.

I am thinking that brake actuator had a larger force when the vehicle was moving than stopped

I have an appointment setup with non dealer Toyota expert next week for a complete checkup.

Sorry, yes, it finally gave an error code but no warning lights, found this during oil change service, not sure how long the code had been active, definitely weird that there were no warning lights.

Dealer replaced the brake actuator assembly ( pissed that 12v battery had died mysteriously while in the shop and rear right brake caliper is siezed when I got the car back)

yeah my assumption was like that because if it was air in the system then you would had experienced spongy brake with tire temperature rise up.
    any way thanks for that.
