You shouldn't make assumptions about where I'm doing this.

I found the problem. The alignment is slightly toed in.

The other problem I found is a couple people who assert their personal viewpoints while making assumptions and insulting others. I came for advice and got insulted instead. One should not assume where I'm doing this

I really don't appreciate you calling me names repeatedly. I suggest you discontinue your violation of the community rules at once.

You're entitled to your own opinion, but facts are facts.
I've driven in probably a half dozen nations where speed limits are (or were) over 105mph - and the Prius is a WORLD CAR.
Heck....I'll bet there are even people who are members here that don't live in the United States.
    (No @Mendel Leisk Canada doesn't count!!! :p )
It is true that in the US....there are always posted speed limits (as of 2017) but it is also true that there are vast swaths of this country where you can set your cruise control at 100 mph and listen to a chapter or two of your favorite book and not encounter another soul.....and if you live where it's flat enough to stand on a bucket and see the back of your head then it's rather unlikely that the local constabulary is going to be bothered with bothering you much about it.

The Prius does have a top speed limiter....but I'm sorry to inform you that as of this writing all four generations have top speeds of over 105 mph IIRC.

As far as stamping out this "illegal activity".....
The mods are going to be awful busy! :D

I get antsy going 100 kmh. 80 kmh (50 mph) on secondary highways I'm more comfortable. (y)

OK, technical question here. Hypothetical, but I am curious, and the discussion has already headed this way:

If you were to take your favorite Prius out to the Bonneville Salt Flats, with a fully charged traction battery, and do a wide-open throttle speed test for several miles, what would the speed do?

    Some issues in this question:
I see the Prius with the engine rated at a certain HP, and the electric motor with its own HP rating, and then the total HP is less than the sum of the two. Explanation? Transaxle limited? In general, I can see that testing at the limit like this, the transaxle would be a very important factor.

Doing this speed test, I assume with the full traction battery you'd soon (e.g. within a mile or so) hit top speed. What speed?

And then as the traction battery depletes, what would happen? How long would it take to get to steady state, etc. (keeping it floored the whole time)

And a quick google showed me this, which does not look to be endangering even the salt. Fears of a 100 mph Prius is probably not something I will be losing sleep over.
EDIT - the clip is only 26 seconds long, but still, you might want to change the playback speed to 2x to make it slightly less uninteresting.

I'm amazed by how much a slight shift in toe effects stability. This is important. The toe in made the car so twitchy that should the common user look down or look away from the road for just one second the car would be on a different trajectory. We have about a dozen other Prius to get alignment checks. Midas wants me to open a business account that creates a monthly cyclic bill for service. This is not a good deal. What do you guys do to get good deals on Prius alignments? Do you ever need em?

Guess this would be a bad time/thread to mention I made 180 mph last weekend in my ZR1.

I went over 150 mph in my C6 vette coming back from NYC on I78 a couple of years ago. I could see that traffic was almost non-existent on a swath of the highway coming over a ridge. The whole speed-up and slow-down took less than 30 seconds, the car was rock solid, and nobody was nearby. If you were in the passenger seat, and not looking out the window, you probably would not have known it happened.

I would have liked to have seen 180 mph, but it would have taken longer than my willingness to risk the ticket.

I've tracked my vette numerous times. I feel that the best is on VIR (Virginia International Raceway), where the 4000' back straight run up the hill after the Oak Tree turn is the fastest point on the track. I never got much beyond 135 mph, and even the best with enough HP will touch 170.

Your ZR1 owned the track record two years ago. 2019 Corvette ZR1 Becomes Fastest Production Car Ever At VIR

Some years ago I took a suggestion from PriusChat (umm, Bob Wilson maybe?) and had a "lifetime alignment" done at Firestone.

That's an alignment you pay a little more for up front, but then you can go in for rechecks whenever.

If the recheck finds something needs tweaked, I guess you pay for the tweaking.

I jaywalked yesterday to my car after work and forgot to use my turn signal making an unprotected left turn with no cars around. The worst was when I was holding traffic up driving the post speed limit in the AG capital.

This is Wendy and I on the Autobahn from Munich to Degendorff In 2018. I'm proud to say I've lost significant weight since then. (Looking at myself in the video I realized the need.) The road was reasonably good for speeds upto 160 And the drivers were impeccably well-mannered. I felt like we were all dancing together because they were all extremely attentive. We were all in sync and not pushy, and they were not holding me back. I would have enjoyed spending more time on that road. We went to five countries on that trip and rented motorcycles and went with our friends. The Autobahn was just a small part of it all. Maybe we'll be back again in a few years. For most the Autobahn is a bucket list item. It was for me (check) :). I used to race motorcycles as an amateur in CCS. The Autobahn didn't afford the kind of speeds that I achieved at DIS, but why compare.... Hope you enjoy my vid as much as I do when I watch it:
