Hello everyone, long time lurker but I finally decided to create an account and join in on the fun. I'm pretty active on the prius subreddit.

I have a 2010 Gen 3 Prius with a level 3 trim and the optional navigation and solar roof package. I bought it in 2016 for ~11k with 95K miles. I have held off on modifying it since I'm currently in college, but now that it is senior year and I can almost touch my nursing degree I have begun modding my car. I am currently at 142k miles.

    Things I have done:
Added a 1500 watt subwoofer and 1400 watt amp.
    Tanabe Lowering Springs
    DIY front lip
    DIY Side skirts
    Ken style duraflex rear wing
    Rear Wiper delete
    Sound dampened doors/body
    5% Tinted Rear windows
    15% Tinted front windows
Front windshield replacement. (I shattered mine smacking a mosquito that had gotten inside my car. It had propagated quite a bit during winter so I bit the bullet and replaced it.)
Front headlight replacement. (I had attempted to sand it down with 400, 800, then 2,000 grit and then just recoat it, but had left too many spiderweb cracks and water leaked in. I decided that instead of trying again, better to just buy a whole new set.)

Things I am currently doing/will do:
Black faux leather and faux suede interior reupholstery
    Seat reupholstery
    Head unit upgrade
    Painted brake calipers
    50% Front windshield Tint
    Windshield Visor Strip

    Maintenance Done at 142k miles:
I just completed an EGR valve clean.
I need to clean out the EGR itself, and will do so in a month when I return from my spring break.
Replaced my spark plugs with new Iridium ones.
Performed a transmission fluid flush. It was filthy dark.

I had just completed all of these cleans this past week. I have been changing my oil every 10k miles with full synthetic, along with getting my wheels rotated and aligned.

Carbon fiber wrapped my hood and black vinyl wrapped a lot of other surfaces. Added 25mm spacers to the rear tires. No noticible rubbing.

Out of curiosity, how do the wing mounts attach to the stock spoiler?

So you actually have to remove the entire rear spoiler and then drill through the bottom of the spoiler. There are screw holes in the bottom of the actual wing that the screws from the spoiler will thread into.

If you aren't going to install fog lights, painting or plasti-dipping them black looks really sharp. It's a cheap/easy upgrade.

Didn't think about that, didn't know what that thing was even for. I'm about to go on a road trip, so I guess I'll install fog lights when I come back. I'll paint them black for now.

Blacked out the fog light area with spray paint. I'll install them in a week or so. About to go on a 1,000 mile round trip.

Drove 500 miles down to Florida, averaged 49.4mpg going 68mph with cruise control on. Engine used ~11.7hp and maintained an average rpm of 1660 the entire way down. This is with 25 mm spacers on the back wheels.

Did you use any sort of spacer between the wing and trunk? I need to pull mine off and add something in there, it rattles a bit when closing the trunk.

    Love the build though!

Thanks! I have 3M taped across the bottom of the wing attaching it to the spoiler just to make sure it doesn't rattle. I added sound deadening panels to the inside of the spoiler since I already had it opened.

Thanks man! I'll definitely get some full body shots soon, been really busy since I work at the hospital and it's been hectic. I bought generic ones off of ebay. The actual seller I got it from closed shop, but they were 42$ for the pair of them.

    Sweet build. Lovely aesthetics.

I was looking at a similar rear spoiler. Eyeballing the side view, from your pics, it looks like it might obstruct a bit. How much would you guesstimate?
