I am also working on replacement of NiMh with Li Ion.
Each cell of toyota prius is 7.2v 6.5 Ah and all are connected in series to give output of 144v 6.5 Ah. The lithium ion like 18650 has a 3.7v and 2.0Ah. If we connect 2s4p configuration 8 cell of 18650 results into 7.4v 8.0Ah of a single unit which replacement for each cell of NiMh.
What is your review about this ?
    What problems will occur?

it was designed to use a NimHi battery. GL getting it to work on a LiIo batt, you would need a NiumHi to LiIo converter controller.

The NIMH batteries are proven to last up to 20 years.
No one has a Prius with Li-Ion batteries over 8 years old.

What problem is it you are trying to solve?
