Why would one goes with a "regular" Prius and not a Prime?

Huge difference. The hatch has been widely criticised in the latest model - the boot is considerably smaller than the previous model - and heaps smaller than PRIUS, the back-seat passengers can't see out easily - kids would get sick easily, and the back seat is tight.

Only good thing about the hatch is that it drives better than the previous model.

The SEDAN has more back seat space, more legroom, better visibility and the boot is at least a reasonable size.

The pick of the bunch - unfortunately they won't give us for some odd reason - is the WAGON/Shooting Brake. Limited to UK & EU I think.

 

They killed our wagon that was called the Matrix a great years ago. I think they made them in the plant that now makes Teslas.

 

Knew a lot of people who had Corolla and Camry Wagons in the past. They're not interested any more.

 

I had a 1989 Toyota Corolla All-Trac wagon for 18 years, I would gladly get a Hybrid wagon when/if my 2012 Toyota Prius v wagon dies. (in 2030?)

 

Jeez, guys, enough already...

I believe white is the presence of all colors of light.

It's also the color of most service vehicles and plain jane work trucks and utility vans, with vinyls interior and manual window cranks
Like if style or looks mean absolutely nothing, go on and paint it white lol

You guys should know, I'm just ribbing you here. Some of those bright reflective pearl white finishes don't look too bad.... On certain vehicles.

 

And probably 20% or more of the cars around here. I don't care for it, but it seems lots of people do. Or the other extreme ... black. No thanks either way. Black is hot and also brags about being dirty. White's at least not a heat grabber, but I guess I get bored easily.

 

White is also the most visible vehicle color from a distance. You are welcome to be invisible on the road as long as you are not driving near me.

I think @krmcg would beg to differ with his white car smartly trimmed in black.

We got silver cus it was "well what have you got" time. And here was this touring model, with the LED head lights, 17" rims, fogs and so on, just kinda fell into our laps. Love it.

 

... in climates without extensive winter snow.

DRLs should take care of that, even for white cars in winter snowscapes.

 

In a whiteout snow all vehicles tend to be invisible. Foggy weather is also a challenge for most colors. It is usually advisable to avoid driving then if possible.

 

The vast majority of my cars have been white - particularly ones I bought new. Definitely the most visible colour both day & night. Yellow beats it in daytime, and red isn't too bad in daytime - but both yellow and red tend to fade quicker. Black or dark greys are the most invisible colours - I had a dark grey car, didn't buy it new, and I always drove with lights on.
