Hi everyone....Am new here and I have been driving the G4 Prius (RHD) since 2016
Just ordered a 10.1 inch Android head unit from Joying which they assured me was 100% compatible with with the Prius G4. They will provide the necessary harness and connectors with my order.

I removed the Toyota/JBL unit from my ride and I need help to identify the ports on the back of the HU.
There are 7 ports but only 6 are used.

Can anyone tell me what each port connector (1-6) is for?

    My console:

The Head unit is supplied by Pioneer:

I know there are drop in aftermarket replacements for the Gen 3 Prius, but was not aware of one for the Gen 4? I'm sure you can get it functioning in terms of playing music and running apps, but I would imagine you would loose some functionality in terms of setting car options?

Finding the service manual for the factory unit is the surest way to identify all the ports. I did try a quick search and didn't find it online. You can find diagrams for many other Toyota's, so you might be able to piece it together. It does seem that if this was a true aftermarket replacement, there would be an off the shelf harness to make it plug and play.

Shame you didn't post a video of the installation, or at least this unit's operation and fitment from all angles. It looks great!!

Were you able to retain the "Energy Monitor" and other settings?
