Hi all. I'm Kamran. I have my engine light, abs light, vsc light and master warning light on. Plus the engine keeps running and hybrid battery is not charging. It's done almost 60k miles. Any tips?

You can disconnect the 12 volt battery for a minute and the lights will reset. If the issue comes back, your hybrid battery may be going bad.

If you haven't disconnected the battery yet, I would suggest getting the trouble codes from the car first.

Disconnecting the battery will make the car forget them, making you wait until they are back before you can start determining what's up.

Once you have written them down, in some cases it is reasonable to clear them and see what comes back. Writing them down first means if the problem isn't cured, you still have a full history to guide your diagnosis.

The codes behind the ABS and VSC lights can be retrieved even if you don't have a code reader, just by using a short jumper wire and counting some light blinks. (That procedure is widely described on PriusChat.)

The engine codes may not be retrievable that way. The codes behind the MWL probably are not, but would need a Prius-capable code reader to be plugged in.

If you have already disconnected the battery then it's too late to get the codes, but certainly do so if they come back a day, a week, or a month from now.
