I had already, hoping for clarification about what "small amount" actually refers. So, I responded with detail hoping for the same... which was indeed provided. :)

all of the charge point stations around here in SoCal have a $1 minimum - Requiring one hour minimum charge time ( if you can only charge at 3.3kWh's) - just so you don't end up paying more than at least 28¢/kWh or as high as 50¢/kWh. No big deal, as long as you don't mind paying more than gas cost now.

Since that will be changing from time to per kWh, how do you anticipate an alter in usage ?

How long until this vehicle is in the hands of consumers?

It's a 2021 model year, I think Toyota was planning on releasing in the fall. I'm sure that has been pushed back with everything else. The Escape PHEV was suppose to start heading to dealers now, but it hasn't happened.

Will it be nationwide or another compliance vehicle?

Depends on Southeast Toyota. Be prepared to fly out of Dixie to get one.

The Prius Prime is nationwide. The Gulf and South states distributors are independent of Toyota, so are free to support a model or not, but will take buyer orders for the Prime.

The Rav4p rollout will likely follow the rollout of other PHEVs, going to CARB states first.

I didn’t know there were any Toyota dealers left in that state.
